SWEETHEART ST JOHNS- ANNA HENRICKS
Is a Boutique Cake Studio and Pop-up Bakery in Portland, OR. Their cakes and pastries are botanically-inspired, hand-crafted of the finest seasonal ingredients and decorated with natural flourishes. They use farm fresh eggs from pasture-raised hens, local fruits, edible flowers and other high quality ingredients to create outstanding pastries and cakes. No fondant, no artificial colors or flavors, just naturally beautiful, delicious food! You can custom order a cake or indulge in something delicious at the Sweetheart Pop-up Bakery, Saturdays and Sundays, select dates.
Sweetheart is owned and operated by Anna Henrie Henricks. Anna has worked as a pastry chef, baker, caterer, gardener and food stylist. She has traveled the world in pursuit of her craft, yet is constantly inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Anna is driven by her passion for food, art, and design and has dedicated her lifes work to culinary excellence. She lives in Portland, OR with her husband, Joe Vanaman, who heads the pickle department at Olympia Provisions.
BAERLIC BREWING
Born out of an undying passion for the perfect pint of beer, Baerlic Brewing Company is a collaborative entity created by us, Ben Parsons and Richard Hall. After years of brewing on the small scale in a basement and winning numerous awards in amateur competitions all over the region, they decided that they should finally give in to the voices in their heads and move toward a small scale production brewery and taproom. Literally translating to of barley in old english, bærlic reiterates the fundamental idea that all things, no matter how complex or involved, can always be traced backward to a single, simple core or point of view. Their point of view comes from a belief that we are all in this together and that our actions shape our world by being honest, we are approachable; by being consistent, we are trusted; by being considerate, we can sleep at night; and by choosing to keep it simple, we are able to do this really well.
