Austin Anarchy Roller Derby vs OKC Wolf Pack
THE BIGGER THEY ARE THE HARDER THEY FALL!
Come see the Austin Anarchy Roller Derby team battle the OKC Wolf Pack. The bout is guaranteed non-stop high voltage action! Raffles, merchandise, derby bingo, food and beverage will be available for purchase. Give your Austin Anarchy that home track advantage by cheering your rear off. (Screaming is fun!) The bout will be on March 19, 2016 at Austin Sports Arena in Round Rock, TX.
SCHEDULE:
7:30 PM Doors open
8:00 PM Team Introductions
8:05 PM First Whistle
$10 for General Admission (door price $15)
$5 for Kids 6-12 (door price $10)
FREE Children 5 and under with paid admission
On April 18th, witness Brass Monkey bull his way around the track. He's a big guy and enjoys knocking the unfortunate out of his way. You'll recognize him by his red helmet and intense glare. You'll also see Sharknado fly around the rink. Sharknado is fast and light on his feet. Given him an inch of space and he'll push his way through the pack of skaters. Then there's Todd-O-Matic. World-renowned scientists will be at this bout, because when Todd jams, he tends to bend the laws of physics. Come and see with your own eyeballs what we mean!
Don't understand roller derby (aka, the greatest sport in the world)? It's okay. Here's the Austin Anarchy Recipe: Take two parts hockey, and one part football. Add one cup Mixed Martial Arts and a pound of NASCAR and blend thoroughly. Add a dash of a bar fight and a sprinkling of Disney on Ice and now you have the 100% serious sport of Anarchy Roller Derby.
Seriously, you'll have a blast watching even if you don't know all the rules. However, you can learn more about the great sport of Roller Derby.
