An engaging, spirit-lifting, heartwarming concert celebrating the Spirit of Christmas. You'll come away with a renewed life-giving experience, and a re-energized sense of the Spirit of Christmas.
Jamming piano keys, vocals and keyboards will help kick off this special season of Christmas preparation. This concert is a benefit to provide cash funds to the BackPack Meals Program, which provides take-home meals in backpacks for hungry and economically disadvantaged children attending elementary schools in Billings Public Schools.
Performer: Dave Merkel
Dave Merkel received his musical training while growing up in his hometown in eastern South Dakota; with twelve years of formal piano education and additional pipe organ training, including at St. Olaf in Northfield, Minnesota. While Dave is currently a pastor in the United Methodist Church, he began playing as a professional musician at the age of 13. He enjoys composing and arranging music, and playing piano. Dave is also a music and worship consultant.
