Martha's Vineyard SOUND is an annual festival of music, food and the arts on Martha's Vineyard, held at Waban Park, in Oak Bluffs, across from the Town Beach every July. Musical acts range from indie, rock, and folk, to reggae, appealing to a diverse set of tastes. Visual artists and food vendors peddle their wares and delicious eats. Festivities continue beyond the main event at satellite locations throughout downtown Oak Bluffs. MVS supports local food and business, and attempts to make each event as close to zero-waste as possible.
A portion of proceeds from the MV SOUND Fest will be set aside to help pay for non-profit filing fees for Island Collaborative and/or donate to an in-progress project on Martha's Vineyard that will contribute to sustainability on the island.
