LOVE IS LOVE with Kimberley Locke!
American Idol Finalist and Billboard #1 Recording Artist Kimberley Locke is headlining LOVE IS LOVE, a Valentine's Day concert benefiting the National LGBTQ Task Forces Winter Party Festival! The Concert is happening Tuesday, February 14th at 8:00p at the glamorous South Beach hotel, The National!
During LOVE IS LOVE, Kimberley will sing songs about the joys and the heartaches of romance, including classic songs of love and hope (SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW, EVERYTHING MUST CHANGE) and some of her own hits (8TH WORLD WONDER, CHANGE.)
Kimberley was happy to lend her voice to support this cause, "I am an advocate for love. Something that we need more of in this world. People are so concerned with judging one another that we miss the daily opportunity to help one another heal. The only way to truly heal the divisiveness in this world is through love and unfortunately the ability to truly love with compassion and non-judgement seems to be further and further out of reach. I am happy to be a part of an event that is working to bridge that gap. May that gap overflow with love of all colors, genders, cultures, beliefs, shapes and sizes. Love is love is love!"
Though same-sex marriage is now finally legal, the rights of LGBTQ people still face significant obstacles. This event will be more than just a night of entertainment and romance, it will raise money to help the fight for LGBTQ equality!
"The Task Force is thrilled to be part of this event as it will herald the fabulous Winter Party Festival social programming line-up," commented Michael Bath, Events Director for the Task Force. "While the Winter Party dance events are a huge part of the Festival, we are committed to providing other programming through which people can support the cause. We look forward to this partnership."
Kimberley will be joined on the stage by musical director Rick Leonard. Mr. Leonard is well known to Miami audiences as one of the finest and most popular pianists in South Florida. The event will be produced for the National LGBTQ Task Forces Winter Party Festival by David Sexton and Robert Masterson.
General Admission tickets will be $30 and VIP tickets, including champagne for the table and a meet and greet with Kimberley will be $100. Two drink minimum.
