THE HOOT OWLS
If you like your music "out on a limb," you'll enjoy the Hoot Owls. This energetic five-piece band gives an acoustic twist to a variety of musical genres. From bluegrass and classic country to Tin Pan Alley and gospel, these birds of prey will keep you up at night with toe-tapping melodies and memorable vocal harmonies. Its members are veterans of several noteworthy acoustic groups - including Heartland, Brush Creek, the Sleepy Hollow String Band, Sweetcorn and others.
General admission; $7, $5 advance & members. Tickets at South Haven Art Center, 800.838.3006, www.brownpapertickets.com, and at the door after 7 pm.
Doors open at 7 pm.
