Two young siblings Caroline and Darrell, are left behind, far from any civilization â in the vast and lonely landscape of the 19th century American West. Each day they dream of their parentâs return while they struggle to keep up the family farm. Their parentâs have traveled far into town to deliver their third child. At the farm, Caroline, a blossoming twelve year old girl, is left in charge of her little brother Darrell, age nine. Their laborious chores equally divided, the two siblings struggle to maintain their home and sanctuary from the brutal harshness of the elements as well as an unseen terror that disrupts their lives. This film is a story of love, loss, loneliness, and the truth behind childhood fears.
