Charlie is an old gangster, a man of great wisdom and even greater class. Unfortunately, heâs also quite poor â heâs spent all his money on women, gambling and the rest of those things commonly known as âthe high life,â and since he isnât getting any younger he realizes he needs a load of money if heâs going to be able to retire. He aims to get this money by heisting his own boss â the cutthroat mobster Rocco. There is also a catch â he wishes to deliver the heist with âno guns.â Charlieâs fate leads him to his son Danny, who desires to be taught all the criminal wisdom Charlie knows. Soon the father and son are bonding like crazy and decide to pull off a heist of their own to cement their reunion.
