The Mill Valley Chamber Music Society presents The Enso String Quartet on Sunday, Mar.7, 2010 at 5:00 pm at the Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church. Program: Beethoven: The Mill Valley Chamber Music Society presents The Enzo String Quartet on Sunday, Mar.7, 2010 at 5:00 pm at the Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church. Program: Beethoven: op.18 #1; Ginestera: Quartet #1; Sibelius: op.56 "Intimate Voices" In addition to audience appreciation and critical acclaim, the Ens String Quartet has earned its place in the ensemble world, claiming multiple honors at the 2004 Banff International String Competition. Since 2006 the ensemble has served as faculty and Quaret-in-Residence at Tangle-wood Institute and Interlochen Adult Chamber Music Camp. The quartet members hold music degrees from the Juilliard School, Curtis Institute of Music, New England Conservatory of Music , Guildhall School of Music (UK) and University of Canterbury (NZ). All the musiciansÂMaureen Nelson, violin, John Marcus, violin, Melissa Reardon, viola, and Richard Belcher, cello are equally at home as soloists. For more information see www.ensoquartet.com
