Uptown Girl Power
"The First Uptown Girl Power event (Sept. 16th) was more amazing than the sum of its parts - and there were some amazing parts! The heart, the star power, the love, and shared vision was in effect. We raised over $20,000! Our first large scale mural is underway, and we are continuing to raise money to fund more throughout the year.
"There will be a community unveiling in October, and another chance to celebrate! Maybe fewer movie stars, but we will make up for it with pride and optimism. Hope we see you there!"
