CHANGE. Do we embrace it or run from it? How does it impact us today. How does it affect tomorrow. The characters that inhabit Rubicon's upcoming season grapple with such questions.
Rich Hoag as cowboy humorist Will Rogers examines Society's foibles in the season opener "Will Rogers America". Then we celebrate the holiday and the new year with "A Rubicon Family Christmas, featuring Broadway stars from Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King and Thoroughly Modern Millie.
In "Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", George and Martha confront dangerous truths during a dark night of game-playing. "Fiddler on the Roof" finds Tevye, a Russian peasant, trying to arrange suitable matches for his daughters as the world swiftly changes around him.
A woman tries to teach her daughter life skils and learns an important life lesson herself in Clarinda Ross's "Spit Like a Big Girl", while "The Best is Yet to Come" takes us through the evolution of jazz, swing and pop in an elegant revue of Cy Coleman's prolific career.
The final production, "The Tempest", is the fantastical story of creatures storm-tossed by life who miraculously reconcile past wrongs and find a more generous, more expansive way of being.
