Why We Smoke
Despite widespread knowledge about the dangers of smoking, 21% of Americans still choose to smoke. So, why do we smoke? Fourteen USC undergraduates explore this question in this film that was supported by a grant from the South Carolina Tobacco Collaborative. This documentary combines research interviews with smokers and scientific and health experts in an attempt to help answer this question. Screenings will be followed by Talk Backs with the filmmakers and interview subjects.
