De La Salle Middle School was founded in 2001 by the Christian Brothers of the Midwest in response to a crisis in St. Louis public education. De La Salle remains, by choice, a small faith-based school that is committed to the Ville neighborhood of North St. Louis, Missouri. A hallmark of De La Salle Middle School is the enduring relationship it fosters with each student, family, and the neighborhood where it is located. The De La Salle staff invests in long-term, supportive relationships with students to insure their academic and personal success beyond middle school. The Graduate Support Program (GSP) began in 2004 to help our alumni sustain their accomplishments throughout high school and college. The GSP furnishes academic, financial, social and moral support during high school to each De La Salle graduate who is active in the program.
