City of Chicago Festival Sanitation Classes are offered in April, May and June. This class is required each year for anyone preparing food at a Farmer's Market, Festival or any temporary outdoor event.
2-Day ServSafe Classes certify students as a Food Safety Manager. All food businesses must have a Certified Manager in the kitchen at all times. This certificate, renewed every five years, is earned after completion of a 2-day class and 70% test score.
