A Discovery Street tour is more than just a walk-and-talk. It%u2019s a whole new way to experience the city. We talk about science. We do hands-on activities. We explore the properties of everyday things. All while eating tasty treats and meeting other folks like yourself--curious, active, and a little beyond the ordinary.

We have tours about the science of food, SF geology, inventions, even the science of walking! And at Christmastime, we offer a special evening tour about the science of light.

Tours are about two miles long and offer some exercise. We delight in taking you to nooks and crannies that even locals don't know about, while bringing a unique perspective on this beautiful place.
