Nebunele Theatre Company

Nebunele Theatre is the recipient of Boulder Fringe Festival 2006 "Gold Pick of the Fringe" award, as well as "Best New Play"from San Franciscos 2006 Fringe festival, for their last play "The Secret Ruths of Island House." Nebunele is quietly working away at some revolutionary theatre. Next show up: "Medea Knows Best," a dark, enticing comedy-drama that looks at the classic story of the sorceress Medea, betrayed by Jason of the Argonauts, through the lens of 50s American lifestyle, culture, gender relations, and attitudes toward marriage. Epic tales of the descendants of gods mashed up with a quirky doo-wop chorus ensures a head-scratching, toe-tapping theatre experience.
