SAVE is a community-based nonprofit organization that assists victims of domestic violence and their families. SAVE serves those in need regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, language spoken, immigration or citizenship status, or geographic location.
SAVE offers a continuum of services from crisis to the establishment of a violence-free life. Our programs include:a 24-hour hotline, a 30-bed safe house, individual and family counseling, drop-in support group, Empowerment Center Program (in-person crisis support, referrals, distribution of food, clothing and other basic life needs), temporary restraining order assistance, COPS (Community Oriented Prevention Services) Program -- a police department-based advocacy program that provides immediate assistance to victims, Youth Programs designed to empower teens and pre-teens about healthy relationships and educate them about the warning signs of abuse, and Community Education and Outreach.
