The Colorado Academy of Hard Knocks is Colorado Springs%u2019 newest women%u2019s roller derby league and the ONLY flat-track and banked-track league in Colorado. We%u2019re coached by an elite staff and aiming for world domination. We train the best %u2014 from new skaters to skating veterans %u2014 in order to promote the fastest-growing women%u2019s sport in the nation: Roller Derby.

The Colorado Academy of Hard Knocks (the Academy, for short) is a skater-owned and operated non-profit organization, soon to be designated as a 501(c)3 organization. We are comprised of women athletes ranging in age from 18 to 50 who train, skate and practice the sport of roller derby in order to create a strong, successful league and community. When we%u2019re off our skates, you can find us working in and around Colorado Springs as teachers, mothers, soldiers, students, and artists, to name a few.
