Founded by alumni of the famed Juilliard School, The Musical Oratory Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Escondido, CA. We are dedicated to the dissemination of the European Art Music tradition through high quality concerts, in-depth lectures, and innovative lecture-performances throughout the Southern California region and beyond. Our namesake is the chamber music ensemble Musical Oratory, comprised of accomplished professional singers and instrumentalists.

We have come together for the love of J. S. Bach to perform his Cantatas, both secular and sacred, and to explore their timeless reverberations. This repertory is valued by audiences everywhere both for its extraordinary musical virtues and the depth of its universal human spirituality. We strive to achieve an exceptionally high level of artistic quality and scholarly engagement, and to provide a cultural experience that is rarely available outside the great metropolitan centers of the East Coast and Europe. Other projects currently in the works are forays into the body of work of other important composers, and include Chamber Opera and Baroque Dance.
