Allegra Durante is a young coloratura soprano whose spunk, stature, and sound make her perfectly suited to take on the light coloratura repertoire. Her three-octave range alights comfortably on F6, a few steps above high C, and her agile voice feels at home anywhere from the fioritura of Handel to the sweeping melodies of Richard Strauss.
Allegra is prone to restlessness and the entertaining of certain "harebrained schemes." One such scheme developed into the concert program "Replenished Repertoire," other such schemes haven't fully developed yet.
