The Georgia Laster Branch of the National Association Negro Musician's goals are to 1) Keep musical education alive through competitive scholarship programs; 2) Sponsor quality concerts and showcase outstanding performances; 3) Provide instrumental and choral music classes for 15 to 20 students between the ages of 6 and 13 who do not have those opportunities in their local schools; and 4) Assist families in purchasing musical instruments.
