More Art

More Art is a New York-based nonprofit organization dedicated to socially engaged public art projects. More Art was founded in 2004 with the aim of reducing the gap existing between the art community, long-time residents, and underserved communities in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, by asking both established and emerging artists to create public art projects that directly engaged community members and social service organizations. More Art now works throughout New York City.
