Sweet Adelines International membership consists of approximately 25,000 women singers worldwide, committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performances.
The international organization is divided into 28 geographical areas which provide members with regional management, educational, competition, performance and friendship opportunities.
Region 5 has approximately 900 members and covers most of eastern Kansas, Missouri,southwestern Iowa and eastern Nebraska. The region is home to many past International Quartet champions and a past International Chorus champion. Our region is very active and provides several regional education symposiums each year, director and quartet retreats, leadership education and hosts a Young Women in Harmony festival each year.
