|Seattle – Brown Paper Tickets proudly announces a partnership with the stellar live music venue Nectar Lounge. Beginning this winter, Brown Paper Tickets will be selling all Nectar pre-sale tickets. This is the latest in a flood of independent music venues across the country flocking to Brown Paper Tickets. Nectar joins such clubs as: Holocene and The Woods in Portland, Ore.; Bugle Boy in Texas; The Cheyenne Saloon in Las Vegas; The Sunset and The King Cat Theater in Seattle; The Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, Mass., plus many others that recently made the move to Brown Paper Tickets.
Landing Nectar is particularly rewarding for Brown Paper Tickets as the club's located just across the canal from the company's flagship office in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. Despite growing into a global ticketing power-player (having served more than 23,000 unique producers and ticketed more than a quarter of a million events) Brown Paper Tickets still feels love for its hometown roots.
Why are clubs and event organizers dumping their ticketing companies to make the move to Brown Paper Tickets? Freedom! Brown Paper Tickets puts control in the event producers' hands by providing fair prices (to both organizers and ticket buyers) and doing away with restrictive contracts. Clubs are drawn to Brown Paper Tickets' 24/7 call center (speaking in three languages), innovative mobile ticketing applications, and free promotional support. In January 2011 Brown Paper Tickets will launch a new website and advanced ticketing services, offering even more to clubs.
"It's always a great feeling to earn a customer's trust through partnership. With Nectar it is particularly sweet—we're both a neighbor and a fan," says Steve Butcher, CEO of Brown Paper Tickets.
"We decided to go with Brown Paper Tickets because of their free marketing support, fair prices and great services," says Nectar owner Jed Smithson.

Despite virtually no expenditures in advertising or marketing, the company boasts a staggering 200 percent growth each year for the past ten years, with over 23,000 unique producers and more than 250,000 events ticketed.
