Aurora Chorus: Light Is Returning, December 21

Aurora Chorus takes to the stage on the longest night of the year with a program celebrating our ancient connection to the earth and our life-affirming connections to one another. We'll shine a light into your heart and breathe some magic into your soul! Poet Kim Stafford joins us as our special guest.

There are two concerts: 4:00 and 7:30 p.m. Click the arrow next to the date below to choose a performance.

All tickets are for open (non-reserved) seats. Premium tickets (available only at this site) give you access to the seats at the front of the main floor. General admission tickets are for seats on the rest of the main floor and in the balcony. Note that the balcony is accessible only by stairs.

Tickets can be mailed to you at no charge or held in Will Call for pickup.

Come down to the fellowship hall if you arrive early to stay warm and dry.

We will again have mini pies available to enjoy in the fellowship hall, before or after the concert, or we can bag them for you to take home. No food can be consumed in the concert hall.

Since 1992, Aurora Chorus has honored the strength and beauty of women's lives through the fine art of choral singing. Aurora was founded on the belief that music can be a powerful instrument of peace--locally, globally, and in the hearts of all who sing and all who listen.

Directed by renowned choral composer Joan Szymko, Aurora Chorus is made up of 100 singers from the Portland/Vancouver metro area.
