Bridges Out of Poverty with Dr. Ruby Payne at Skidmore Gannett Hall
Community Development Initiative Collaborating Organizations Bring International Expert to Discuss Making Sustainable Change to the Face of Poverty in Saratoga County.
Community focused organizations are already collaborating with each other to help affect this change! Dr. Ruby Payne, known internationally for her deep insights into breaking the cycle of poverty through her teachings, books and lectures will be joining us on December 4th. She will discuss ways to readdress and better understand language, mental models and what WE as a community of businesses, nonprofits, residents, leaders and change makers can do to end poverty in our area.
Sponsors of this dynamic event are Skidmore College Dean of the Faculty's Office, Communications, and the Department of Social Work, the Quadracci Foundation, the Saratoga County EOC and CAPTAIN Youth and Family.
Community collaborators hosting this event are Community Action Agency Saratoga EOC, Skidmore College, CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services, Mechanicville Community Center and the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.
