Tiffany Simoné holds a BA in Communications, Film, and Video at The City College of New York, where she also received the university's Civil City Project Award 1st Prize, for her poem titled, The Melting Pot. Her many years of as a community activist in the underserved at-risk communities of New York City, earn the attention of The New York Yankees in which she received the prestigious "New York Yankees State Farm 'Go To Bat' Award"and lend to her credibility to write this story.
