What better way to ring in the New Year than with great Jazz. It's an all-star line up for this evening: Kenny Washington, Frank Jackson, Al Obidinski & Vince Lateano.

Recently dubbed "the Superman of the Bay Area jazz scene" by the San Francisco Chronicle, Kenny Washington is a jazz virtuoso who thrills audiences with his soulful interpretations, seemingly limitless range, and rapid-fire scatting. Ravi Coltrane has declared Kenny his favorite male vocalist, and Mark Murphy said in a Jazz Times interview that Kenny was the only contemporary male vocalist carrying on the tradition. Kenny has performed and/or recorded with Louie Bellson, Wycliffe Gordon, Jon Hendricks, Elvis Costello, Joel Harrison, Jason and Delfeayo Marsalis, Joe Locke, Geoffrey Keezer, George Mraz, Clarence Penn, the Marcus Shelby Jazz Orchestra, The Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, the Slammin' All Body Band and The Michael O'Neill Quintet to name a few.

Legendary Bay Area jazz pianist & vocalist Frank Jackson, is recognized as a brilliant jazz pianist, & vocalist. Frank is the "real deal" - He has heard it all, sung it all and met them all. This jazz pioneer of the San Francisco Fillmore Jazz District has played with and for Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, Charlie 'Bird' Parker, Dexter Gordon, 'T-Bone' Walker, and Jimmy Witherspoon. He has a vast repertoire' and will wow us with his warm vocal style and expressive piano work.

Al Obidinski is a superb bassist with a great scat. Al's pedigree is just as amazing as Kenny & Frank. Having toured and played with Frank Sinatra & Anita O'Day, he has the chops to bring it.

Vince Lateano is an American jazz drummer who has toured with numerous great jazz musicians over the years, including Cal Tjader, Woody Herman, Vince Guaraldi, and Stan Getz.
