Buffalo RiverWorks Hard Hat Tour
Meet the developer of Buffalo RiverWorks, a multi- use development springing up on the Buffalo River. Learn more about the vision of developer Doug Swift and his partner Earl Ketry, owner of Pearl Street Grill, in this limited time only Hard Hat Tour of the entire facility. With what could be the country's first purpose built roller derby track, a restaurant, malting and brewing facilities and the new home to the Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament, it is an ambitious adaptive reuse project utilizing what remains of the historic GLF grain elevator site. Called "The Ruins", Swift has incorporated what is left of the Wheeler grain elevator that fell into the Buffalo River in 2011 during a controversial demolition. The development  also includes a pro-shop and two rinks for curling, hockey and open skating events.

The tour will meet at 359 Ganson Street (off of Michigan). The tour begins at 10 and will wind down with a lunch at 11:45 at Pearl Street. Tickets are $40 including lunch or $25 for the tour only. The first PBN Hard Hat Tour will be November 1st with another following on November 15th, 29th and December 13th. Each tour is limited to 30 people.

Please dress appropriately - This is an active construction site, and anyone wearing inappropriate clothing such as open-toed shoes will be denied entrance to the tour.
