Wild Things 2015: a Chicago Wilderness Conference for People & Nature
Join this great gathering of the inspiring souls who live and breathe Chicago nature!
This day-long conference brings together the region's best experts, professionals, dedicated volunteers, and all those who care about nature. Presentations and workshops will explore the latest in natural areas conservation and advocacy, wildlife protection and monitoring. The conference is for everyone from newcomers to experts. It showcases Chicago area places from backyards to refuges. There is special focus on empowering citizen scientists, stewards, and advocates with information, networking, and good ideas.
Online registration ended on January 19. Walk-in registration will be accepted for the late registration price of $40. Lunch cannot be guaranteed, but you can purchase lunch from food vendors at UIC or you can bring your own lunch.
Friends of the Forest Preserves is the fiscal agent for the conference. The conference is run by volunteers. Friends can only answer questions related to registration. Please refer to the conference website for non-registration questions: http://habitatproject.org/WildThings2015/
All charges are non-refundable. Sessions may be changed, added or dropped prior to the conference.
Limit of 3 registrations per transaction. Brown Paper Tickets has a 10 minute time limit to register.
