It's July, 1945, We are still at war with Japan Husbands and dads are in the Pacific, It's a hot summer, one month before the world changes forever. Teenage Charlie is summering with his mother and sister at their cottage on Lake Erie. He's caught between new Bohemian art teacher and his straight-laced privileged-class mom, the girl who treats him like a little brother, his sarcastic sister, and his best friend and rival. But before the summer ends, Charlie will "realize his potential."
