Earthsong 1 - Music for a Peaceful Planet
ADVANCED TICKET SALES HAVE ENDED. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR FOR $25 AND THSE TICKETS SOLD WILL BE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.
This concert will feature Shantikar, which is an evolving performance ensemble led by music pioneer Rick Henderson. The group repertoire includes the classical ragas and devotional songs (kirtan) of India, and a blend of world music styles. Special concert events often feature renowned artists, such as violin master Indradeep Ghosh, currently on tour from India.
The proceeds of this concert will benefit Solar San Antonio, a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform San Antonio into a leader of renewable energy.
