ACE ACETO ROYAL FLUSH COMEDY SHOW
A FULL HOUSE OF LAUGHS

The Joker  Jeremy Furtado
A favorite at The Comedy Connection.  Jeremy's  take on daily life will have you in stitches!
The Jack  Darik Santos
Darik Santos is a stand-up comedian act from Season 9 of America's Got Talent. He made it all the way to the Quarterfinals.
Darik, a native of Providence, lives in Windsor Locks, Connecticut with his girlfriend's family. Until recently, he has been doing stand-up comedy on the side from his job, until he was laid off from that job. "I was a security guard. I patrolled an empty parking lot. They gave me a flashlight and it didn't even work," he said.

Now he's doing just stand-up. He's performed at Strange Brew in Norwich, Brew Ha Ha in Hartford, Comics at Foxwoods, the Joker's Wild in New Haven and other area bars and nightclubs. Santos got his start in stand-up doing goofy things on stage. "I would do karaoke or sleep on stage. ... I would go up and take my shoe off and then take my sock off and then blow my nose in my sock and then put the sock back on," he said. "They thought I was just this crazy person."

When he moved into more verbal stand-up, he favored puns. "Fozzy Bear [from 'The Muppet Show'] was the first comedian I ever saw and is still my favorite comedian ever," he said. "I wanted to write jokes like that ... really short, quick one liners that keep people interested." He calls himself a "commodian," because he tells a lot of toilet jokes. "I'm feeling very flushed right now," he said.

"America's Got Talent" producers didn't seek Darik out, he sought them out. "My mother called me and said 'they're doing auditions in Providence, you should go.' So I called out of work and went. I waited in line for six hours," he said. "I was delirious. I had the flu. I went anyway. I don't know what they saw in me but somehow they liked me."
The Queen - Poppy Champlin
She walks on stage looking urban cool and begins rolling out the jokes, starting slow and sure getting the audience comfy and relaxed. Then she is moving on to staccato pace with well honed material and soon she is hitting on all cylinders, spitting out jokes, quips, songs, impressions, interactions, bird calls and with deep resources to draw from, all of Poppy's shows can be described as spin art  "No two alike."

Poppy is crackerjack at the craft of Improv. Throw anything at her and watch as she magically turns it into comedic fodder.

Poppy's experience with classic standup and improv, gives her a double-barreled flexibility that works particularly well with her subjects of choice.

Besides Poppy's deep comedic chops, she actually has a seriously good voice that she puts to use during her performance making sure to end every show on a good note.
The King  Charlie Hall
Charlie Hall is known by many as Rhode Island's State Jester. He is the creative force behind Ocean State Follies, producer of the RI COMEDY FESTIVAL, and co-creator of RHODE BYTES, a local sketch-type show appearing on NBC 10 and its website. The RISD grad's also made guest appearances on all local radio and TV stations, emceed hundreds of events and fundraisers, and interestingly enough is a talented courtroom atist for local and network television stations.  He has owned and managed 2 comedy clubs, and consults on all types of comedy-related events.

He has performed as a stand-up comic since 1980 and has appeared on several national TV shows, such as the Joan Rivers Show, Caroline's Comedy Hour, MTV Half Hour Comedy Hour, Evening At the Improv, America's Funniest People and Star Search '93, where he was a semi-finalist. He has also appeared as the opening act for more shows at the Warwick Musical Theater than any other person. These acts include Chicago, Natalie Cole, The Temptations, Sam Kinison, Frankie Valli, Reba McIntire, Charlie Daniels, Rosie O'Donnell and Jerry Seinfeld among many others.

In 1993, 1997, and 1998 Rhode Island Monthly Magazine voted Ocean State Follies as the state's Best Comedy Show; in 1994, '95, and '96 the magazine voted Charlie as Rhode Island's Best Comedian. His editorial cartoons appear in all area newspapers including the 2005 to 2010 Editions of the Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year (in North America). He is also the publisher of 3 books  the last two, cartoon books on life and politics in RI called HOT SKETCH, and HOT SKETCH 2: The Independent Funnyman.

If this all weren't enough, Charlie also wrote the words for a song called "Rhode Island, It's For Me" that has become the official state song of RI in 1995.
The Ace  Ace Aceto
Growing up in an Italian/Catholic household and going to Catholic school as a kid has made Ace Aceto what he is todayinquisitive and irreverent!
Ace burst onto the comedy scene during the latter part of the stand-up comedy boom in 1989.  His first time on stage he immediately caught attention by placing second in a local comedy contest.  By 1990, Ace was chosen along with 9 other finalists to be filmed for Stand-Up Stand-Up and Short Attention Span Theater for Comedy Central (then known as The Comedy Channel).

A Rhode Island native, Ace worked clubs, colleges, and corporate dates up and down the east coast, before working on stage as Demetrius in Shakespeare's "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream".  In 1998 he completed his first starring film role, in the independent feature film "BoxedMan", capturing attention from casting agents from Disney-Touchstone as well as 20th Century Fox.

With his instantly likable stage presence, and ability to walk the line between innocent boy-next-door and biting edge comic, Ace takes his audiences on a hysterical ride, performing dead on impressions of Casey Kasem, Gilbert Gottfried, Bobcat Goldthwait, and Peter & Stewie Griffin.  Throughout his shows, you never know what will come out of his mouth next, as he plows through hot topics like religion & dating, saying what most folks think, but are afraid to say.

Ace has worked with such comic luminaries as Jeff Dunham, Jim Breuer, Jim Gaffigan, Brian Regan, Kevin Meany, Jon Stewart, Dom Irerra, and Lewis Black (just to name a few).  Ace has also opened for such acts as Huey Lewis & The News, Luther Vandross, and David Cassidy.

Ace continues to be an audience favorite, headlining such clubs as Catch a Rising Star, The Comedy Factory, Joker's Wild, and Newport Grand Casino.  He is a member of Toastmasters and is currently developing several motivational programs.
