Welcome to Midnights at The Electric Blue Angel.

When Jefferson, a seminary student at a small Bible college, starts to obsess over an adult film actress, the two begin to meet in their dreams. For Jenny, it's a chance to escape a life of objectification and abuse. But soon their dreams begin to impact reality, breaking up Jefferson's well-ordered world and adding to the chaos of Jenny's life.

Despite the progress we've made toward greater equality, women continue to face harassment and discrimination, the threat of sexual violence, and the continuing erosion of reproductive rights. Midnights reveals the role sexual objectification plays in a culture of rape and assault. It's a warning against patriarchy in all its forms, whether it is abusive and violent, or condescending and controlling.

quiet believes art promotes dialogue, which then leads to action. Midnights explores themes of sexual objectification and abuse, themes that are a reality for many of our friends and neighbors living right here in Seattle.

Our hope is that through Midnights, we can raise awareness about human trafficking and exploitation, start a dialogue about these issues, engage in volunteerism, empower those individuals who may not have a voice and build a stronger community in the process.
