MUSIC HEALING MUSICIANS
I am sending this description to you, as an encouragement to join us from 3-7PM on October 5th, 2014 @ White's of Westport, MA., as we pay tribute to one of our own fellow musicians. Our foundation, is presenting a Jazz fundraising/benefit to help musicians in need. This year's recipient, who is an amazing musician and even more, a beautiful human being, has been chosen and we are hoping for a record turnout, given the roster of incredible musicians who are playing. Most of our participants are Berklee College of Music Professors. Those who know and love our recipient, are donating their time, as well as contributing financially, on his behalf. I'm certain that all of you know someone, who has been ill from disease and faced with medical challenges. There are organizations throughout the United States that reach out to musicians in need. We are also one of those organizations.
If you are unable to attend, and you would like to send a donation, that would be greatly appreciated as well.
Funds received will be used to help pay for whatever medical expenses we can, and hopefully help to provide some comfort to him and his family.
He will not be able to work for sometime and music has been his sole source of income.
Donations may be accomplished by the following: We accept checks and money orders.
Make either payable to: Armsted R. Christian Foundation for Sarcoidosis, Inc. or ARCFS, Inc. This donation will be used exclusively for medical bills and expenses.
If you would like to make a donation to him directly, please make check or money order payable to:
The Armsted R. Christian Fund and write in the memo section, Jazz benefit. This donation will help pay for the other necessities such as utilities, heat, food, etc.
