An Indian woman studying in Prague and a lonely New Yorker begin an unconventional correspondence through video letters - two strangers searching for human connection in a hyper-connected world. When their relationship deepens, they must decide whether or not to meet face to face. In this beguiling romantic comedy, the two very seducing characters talk to each other by addressing the camera. But because we, as audience, are on the receiving end of the camera, we feel like they are talking to us. This positions us in the middle of the relationship and has the effect of making us both voyeurs and protagonists. James E Duff and Julia Morrison, the husband and wife filmmaking team, have created a modern love story equivalent of the found footage film, normally associated with the horror genre.
