Forged in the fires of Mount Doom then relocated to Seattle, D20 Brass Band plays all of your favorite music from the video games, movies, and television you love, and whips it all up into a funky groove reminiscent of old school classics like James Brown, The Meters, and Sly & The Family Stone.
D20 Brass Band brings 100% Nerd Funk to the streets of Seattle, Washington and beyond! We play at your favorite geek hangouts and events, in the streets, and wherever nerds are found.
D20 has hit the streets at PAX Prime, and also appeared at NW Folklife, SakuraCon, HONK! Fest West, HONK!TX, reddit Meetups, and random encounters in Seattle streets and bars.

D20 Burlesque - Our Charisma is matched only by our Dexterity!
D20 Burlesque was founded by Anja Keister in the winter 2011 as a way for her to perform acts that were a little too obscure, specific, and geeky for normal burlesque shows. There had been a good amount of nerdy burlesque (aka nerdlesque) popping up in the burlesque world around that time, but Anja and her co-producer Z.P. Keister, felt that the scene lacked a show that really catered to a gamer crowd.
Starting with a theme based on the namesake for the group, D20 Burlesque had their first show on Friday March 25th 20111 based around roleplaying games. From there the group has tackled such topics as board games, H.P. Lovecraft, video games and even internet memes!
D20 Burlesque is not a set troupe, but rather a show where an ever-changing cast of burlesque performers come to perform acts themed around things that they enjoy and indulge in. Every show is a mix of new performers and familiar faces and we hope you'll come join us.
D20 Burlesque has been on the following: Topless Robot, Kotaku, The Escapist Magazine, Wired magazine (on-line), Player Affinity, Re-Imagined Reality, Ology.com, the NY Times, Time Out NY and College Humor's Nerd Alert.
When they have left their spawning point of NYC, they have performed at DEX CON (NJ), Gen Con (IN) and the Escapist Expo (NC).
