NAMI On Campus Race Against Stigma
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) on Campus at Florida State University is hosting a 5K to benefit our organization and eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness. Runners are encouraged to race in a white shirt with hand written messages of hope and encouragement that they have decorated before the race. The Race Against Stigma will give runners an opportunity to share anything from a secret to an uplifting message directed at the runners around you. We hope to inspire everyone running to break through the stereotypes and isolation that comes with mental Illness in order to help craft a more understanding environment.
There is a limited number of free T-shirts available so sign up fast and we'll see you out at the race!
