Freedom Rider
This powerful, inter-generational drama by freedom rider and Drama Desk Award-winning playwright, Ms. J. e Franklin. Directed by noted director Eric Coleman, and hosted by Emmy Award winner, Cliff Frazier, the drama unfolds through the voice of a young undergraduate who journeys to the Cradle of the Confederacy to register Black voters. Militantly armed with Dr. King's belief in the remedial power of love, our hero finds herself caught in the ideological crossfires which challenge her beliefs.
