Attendees will be treated to a special showing of the recently released independent film, "Half Brother," at the Park Cinemas in downtown Paso Robles.
The event kicks off with a wine social at 6 pm followed by the film showing at 7 pm. After the film, the audience can participate in a Q&A with the film director Anthony Grippa and film co-star Casey Biggs.
Proceeds benefit the CTE Steve Gregory for City Council (FPPC# 1368860)
Tickets are $30 in advance or at the door and includes a voucher for a glass of wine or a popcorn/soda combo.
The Park Cinemas is located at 1100 Pine Street in Downtown Paso Robles.
Film synopsis: When his longtime girlfriend breaks up with him, 30 year-old Michael suddenly finds himself homeless. With nowhere else to go, he spends the weekend at his father and stepmother's house, only to find that they're embroiled in a bitter divorce. As he gets caught in the middle of their angry disputes, Michael struggles to come to terms with his place in a dysfunctional family. Starring Stephen Plunkett (The Mend), Dante Bruzzese, Casey Biggs, Christina Haag, and Elizabeth Masucci (TNT's Public Morals), Half Brother is a family drama about finding your home, even as it's falling apart.
