Rossini's The Barber of Seville
Rossini's immortal comedy, The Barber of Seville, comes to Brooklyn's hottest venue, the Roulette Theatre in a semi-staged production. Leading the cast is Italian-American spitfire Lisa Algozzini as Rosina, tenor Marcos Vigil as her suitor the Count, and Metropolitan Opera bass Mikhail Svetlov as the singing teacher Basilio. The remainder of the cast is to be announced. MCO Artistic Director Philip Nuzzo presides over the high jinks.
