Whisperings Solo Piano Concert

Whisperings Solo Piano Radio presents KAWAI piano artists Christine Brown (San Diego, CA) and Joe Yamada (Seattle, WA.) Join us for an inspirational evening of beautiful original, award-winning solo piano. Casual and relaxing, enjoy beautiful live solo piano and hear the stories behind the music! There will be a meet and greet after the performance.

A multiple nominee for Whisperings Album of the Year, Christine was raised in CO, attending CU in Boulder. Described as contemporary classical music, she has released her 10th CD, "Souvenirs", nominated again this year for Best Piano Album! Joe, also a talented and gifted composer, has also released a new CD, "Imagination". His "Heartfelt" CD has been a favorite to many solo piano fans around the world, and his composition "A Silent Tear" has been one of the most popular songs in the history of Whisperings Solo Piano Radio.

Whisperings Solo Piano Radio is an Internet radio broadcast that has become immensely popular, vaulting a community of artists, long since forgotten about by major record labels. Launched in August of 2003, Whisperings enjoys the participation of over 200 pianists and composers from around the world and is enjoyed by nearly a million listeners a month.

"A Whisperings concert is an 'Event,'" Whisperings founder David Nevue says. "It's a montage of personalities, performance styles, humor and joy." Every Whisperings concert features not only the music, but the stories behind the songs. Laughter, improvisation and audience participation are all part of the show.
