In downtown Victoria at the back of St. Andrews Church is a dance studio behind stained glass windows. Every day, twelve professional
dancers and apprentices train and rehearse original works being created right there, right now?

Paul Destrooper and his artist friends are hard at work. Innovation is happening, quietly but insistently. Music inspires bodies to create beauty and harmony in dance. Having produced over 50 new works, Ballet Victoria is starting its tenth year with 5 world premieres. The artistic team is exploring new territory. Music creates an uncompromising range of choreographies, from Baroque music to Rock,
from Opera to folk songs. The result: pure magic. The experience: fascinating.
