The Maine Youth Leadership Summit is a two-day overnight event that gathers together over 300 Maine youth in grades 7-12 and their adult partners who are working together to create positive change.
Attending youth will leave this event feeling empowered, engaged, and committed to making lasting and measurable changes in their communities. Adults will be prepared to support youth voice and youth engagement.
Participants will:
*develop skills that will strengthen their groups and make them more effective leaders & advocates in their communities
*gain information, resources, and connections through workshops on a variety of teen health topics, including tobacco prevention, substance abuse prevention, gambling awareness, physical activity & nutrition, safe school climates, and many more!
*be inspired and motivated to find their voice and make an impact in their schools and communities

Monday and Tuesday, October 27th and 28th
Augusta Civic Center
Registration:
$100*, which includes the two-day summit, lunch and snack both days, and all event activities.
*If you are paying for a confirmed youth presenter, please choose the discounted ticket type that corresponds to the number of workshops they are presenting.

Hotel accommodations:
