Anton Chekhov's
"The Cherry Orchard"

The 1% confronts the 99%in turn of the century Russia. An aristocratic Russian family down on their luck is shocked when a former servant (who has done well in the world) returns and offers to buy their property. Power roles are reversed and the world is turned upside down as the family faces the new reality. Based on a recent translation by the late UCLA professor, Michael Henry Heim, this new production is amazingly relevant as the United States today confronts a new economic reality.

Doors open at 6:30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights and 4:30 pm on Sundays.

Parking:
Metered parking is available on Lincoln Blvd. and Broadway (free on Sundays and free after 6:00 pm on weeknights). Public Parking is also available at the Santa Monica Public Library on 7th and Santa Monica Blvd.

*We are located behind Mod Shop Furniture Store. Enter in alleyway on Broadway Blvd. We are between the backs of Golden Bridge Yoga Studio and Centinela Pet Store.
