Farm to Table Dinner, Montessori School of Covington

The Montessori School of Covington hosts its First Annual Farm to Table Dinner, lots of great food and drinks, one great band. All proceeds benefit our Scholarship Program
The Lineup
Chef Rusty Bowers is the founder and executive chef of the award-winning Pine Street Market in Avondale Estates. He specializes in sourcing, curing, and preparing local meats, and creating especially delicious meals.
The Local Veggie Expert:
Chef Jenn Robbins is the Chef de Cuisine at Avalon Catering in Atlanta. She is an advocate of the local food movement in Atlanta, and is an excellent chef specializing in creating incredible vegetable side dishes from local farms.
Chef Thomas McKeown, award-winning Executive Chef of the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead, will be graciously preparing a dish for us as well, even though he isn't able to attend!
The Music:
Johnny Roquemore and the Apostles of Bluegrass are an ensemble of guitar, mandolin, banjo, and upright bass. They are a wonderful group of talented musicians.
The Place:
Our own backyard at The Montessori School of Covington, 4108 Summers Street in Clark's Grove, Covington.
The Food:
All meat and vegetables will be locally sourced from sustainable farms in Georgia, and vegetables will be from Burge Organic Farm, right down the road!
The Funds:
All Proceeds from donations and ticket sales go directly into our Scholarship Program, allowing children who would otherwise not be able to learn in a Montessori Environment to do so.
The Cost:
$65 includes dinner at 7:00, wine, and entertainment
$85 includes the Appetizer and Cocktail Hour prior to the event (VIP), plus the dinner, drinks, and entertainment.
