Ukiah Symphony Concert: Celebrate! "Sounding Together 35 Years"
The Ukiah Symphony begins their 2014-2015 season with an anniversary celebration of "Sounding Together for 35 Years." The opening gala concert will be held at Near and Arnold's School of Performing Arts and Cultural Education (SPACE) theater at 508 W. Perkins Street in Ukiah, California.
The orchestra, under the direction of music director, Les Pfutzenreuter, will be performing a musical collage of some of their favorite pieces composed by such well-known composers as W. A. Mozart, J. S. Bach, Holst, Pachelbel, Britten and Grieg.
The concert dates are Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 3:00 p.m.
Concert sponsors include: Robert Axt and Near & Arnold's School of Performing Arts and Education (SPACE).
