Opera 101: Carmen
The singers or Artisti Affamati will be presenting highlights from Georges Bizet's Carmen.
Ever caught yourself humming along with a commercial and you're pretty sure it's an opera but you can't REALLY be sure...well there's a REALLY good chance it's something from Carmen! This work contains many of the most well recognized tunes in the world of classical music and yet not everyone wants to invest 3 hours to attend the full work just to see if they like it...that's what we're here for! We'd like to introduce you to the characters, the history, and the glorious melodies in a relaxed space.
Tickets include the music, the education, softdrinks, and snacks! You are free to bring your own adult beverages to enhance your listening pleasure as long as you are over 21.
