The fourth annual incarnation of this festival of the music of J.S. Bach. A traditional German dinner is followed by a concert of the master's works and a cash biergarten.
SonoNovo Chamber Orchestra teams up with the Canticum Novuum Chorus to present the Concerto for Violin and Oboe in C Minor, Cantata 150, and the Musical Offering. Cecilia Johnson, violin, Betsy Bennett oboe, and Michelle Keaster, flute are the featured soloists.
Dinner includes brats, sauerkraut, red cabbage, potato salad, rye rolls, apple cake and the dinner ticket price includes your first beverage.
The event happens Friday, October 10, 2014 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 316 Adams St., Toledo, OH (downtown across the street from the Valentine Theatre). Dinner is at 6p; Concert is at 7p.
The event is a benefit for the SonoNovo Chamber Orchestra.
