Red Light Revolution 2.0
Seattle is one of the largest ports for human trafficking in the United States. Our response is a human trafficking campaign to start a revolution! We aim to spread awareness locally by inspiring action in our community to make a dent in this issue by working with non-profits making an impact on human trafficking in Seattle.
On October 4th, we're hosting a benefit concert titled, Red Light Revolution 2.0 (#RLR2014), as an entertainment avenue to spread more awareness of this prevalent issue of human trafficking today.
In partnership with REST, World Concern, New Horizons, Youthcare, Seattle Against Slavery, and Friday Night Hip Hop Dance, we are making noise about the sex trafficking industry in the Pacific Northwest! Red Light Revolution 2.0 will showcase dance / rap / singing / poetry from some of our community's most talented artists, as well as speakers from local organizations already making waves in the huge fight against sex trafficking. Our goal is that everyone who comes will leave with a resounding message, fired up and inspired to start a revolution!
All proceeds will go towards the local non-profit, REST. REST works to provide a path to freedom, safety and hope for victims of sex trafficking in Seattle and those who were involved in the sex trade.
